Langerholc Announces State Funding for Roadway Improvements in Centre, Clearfield Counties

HARRISBURG – State funding has been awarded to make improvements to road infrastructure in Centre and Clearfield counties, Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) announced today. 

“As our roadways age, repairs need to be made to ensure driver safety,” said Langerholc. “I am pleased to secure this funding for projects that will strengthen the resilience of our transportation infrastructure and improve safety for motorists.”

The following municipalities in the 35th Senatorial District are set to receive funding through the Multimodal Transportation Fund:

Patton Township in Centre County will receive $255,500 for pavement rehabilitation of 0.16 miles of Vairo Boulevard.

Boggs Township in Clearfield County will receive $118,822 for base repair and pavement improvements on Hemlock Road.
