HARRISBURG – Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) reminded area residents and businesses that his office is collecting donations for his annual holiday drive to help make the season brighter for local families.
“I want to thank everyone who has donated winter items to our drive and remind the community there is still time to take part,” said Langerholc.
Hats, gloves and blankets are requested and can be dropped off at the following locations:
- Langerholc’s Richland Township Office at 999 Eisenhower Blvd., Suite E in Johnstown, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Makin’ Waves Hair Salon at 1513 Scalp Ave. in Johnstown, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Donations will be distributed to those in need at the Johnstown Soup Kitchen, 231 Bedford St., on Dec. 19.
