Bridge to Be Named in Honor of Fallen Cambria County Police Officer

HARRISBURG – Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) will take part in a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 11, to name a local bridge in honor of a fallen police officer from Cambria County.

 

The bridge carrying U.S. Route 22 over a tributary of Hinckston Run in Jackson Township, Cambria County, will be designated as the Officer Matthew Krupa Memorial Bridge. A native of Nanty Glo, Officer Krupa was killed in a line of duty car accident on Feb. 4, 2021.

 

The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at the Nanty Glo Fire Department, 870 Chestnut Street in Nanty Glo.
