HARRISBURG – Sen. Wayne Langerholc Jr. (R-35) and Rep. Mike Armanini (R-75) today announced state funding was awarded to DuBois Central Catholic School for the construction of a multi-purpose community center.
Awarded through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), the $1 million grant will assist in the construction of a multi-purpose complex that will expand educational, health and wellness opportunities for the local community.
“This grant award represents a substantial investment in DuBois, enhancing the resources and facilities that residents will rely on for generations to come,” Langerholc said. “I’m proud to have partnered with Rep. Armanini to help secure this important financial support.”
“I’m pleased to partner with Sen. Langerholc to ensure this funding reaches DuBois Central Catholic, where it will help strengthen health and wellness initiatives that benefit the entire community,” said Armanini.
RACP is a commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects. RACP projects are state-funded and cannot obtain primary funding under other state programs.
