HARRISBURG – Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) today announced the approval of a $638,000 state grant for a key transportation improvement project in Lorain Borough, Cambria County.
Langerholc said the grant will help pay for the replacement of Highland Drive Bridge as well as roadway improvements along Green Valley Street in the borough.
“Bridge replacements and road improvements are vital to the strength and functionality of infrastructure, yet they come at a significant cost. I am pleased to announce this state assistance to help Lorain Borough fund this important work,” said Langerholc.
The grant was awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority through its Multimodal Transportation Fund, which supports projects that ensure a safe and reliable system of transportation for Pennsylvania residents.
