2024 Holiday Drive

The 2024 Holiday Drive has begun! My office is once again collecting donations of toiletries, socks, gloves, hats, and blankets to help those in need this holiday season. Donations can be dropped off at my Richland District office, 999 Eisenhower Blvd., Suite E. The donations will be delivered to the Johnstown Family Soup Kitchen in time for Christmas.

Broadband Grant Applications Now Open

Pennsylvania has secured $1.16 billion in high-speed broadband funding, and applications are now open to use this money to expand internet access in our communities!

Internet service providers, nonprofits, and local governments are encouraged to click the above link for more information on how to apply for funding to expand high-speed internet connectivity in our region.

Shopping Small Boosts Our Local Economy

To spotlight the role that small businesses play, Small Business Saturday will be held Saturday, Nov. 30. The holiday season is a wonderful time to shop small.

More than 1.1 million small businesses in Pennsylvania benefit their local economies and employ 2.5 million people.

The state offers helpful information for people who are considering starting or expanding their business. Learn more about writing a business plan, registering your business and choosing a business structure.

Happy Thanksgiving!
